After living in a car with his homeless dad, Shadow was brought to AALOC in hopes of finding a better life. The 13 yr old Lab/chow has waited for 4 years for a dream that hasn't come true. It's hard for senior pets to find a second chance at love, but they shouldn't die in a kennel. Shadow deserves to spend the last chapter of his life without bars and with someone who will let him finish this ride in comfort and love. Shadow is in our Home Permanent Foster program where you provide the love and AALOC pays for all vet and food expenses. Best match would be adult home with no other pets or possibly female dogs. Donation of $150 for dog adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit(in Orange County, CA).
